Maria Stein Retreat Center

It all began in 1961 with the Sisters of the Precious Blood founding who established their third U.S. convent in Maria Stein in 1846. Learn about the dedicated individuals who helped create a transformational new beginning in 2000, as well as the current Board of Directors and our dedicated team, who are committed to ensuring that your retreat is a complete success!

At both retreat centers, you’ll discover overnight accommodations designed to enhance your comfort and relaxation. If you prefer solitude and privacy, you can choose private guest rooms that offer both. Alternatively, for those who thrive on social interaction, the dormitory setting fosters a sense of community and connection with fellow retreatants.

We offer a range of guest room options to ensure your stay is enjoyable and relaxing

Both of our locations feature meeting rooms that can accommodate groups of any size, with options to customize each space according to your specific requirements. Additionally, we offer several smaller rooms for breakout sessions.

The Multi-Purpose Room at the Woods is highly adaptable, making it ideal for large gatherings, while the Gymnasium at the Lake provides ample space for impactful presentations or sports activities that help youth burn off excess energy! Regardless of your group size, you will be able to transition smoothly between presentation sessions, break times, and evening activities.
