Malvern Retreat House, in the rolling hills of Chester County, Pennsylvania, is the oldest and largest Catholic retreat center in the United States. Amid woodland greenery, the 125-acre property is a tranquil oasis dedicated to healing and spiritual upliftment. Malvern offers a variety of scheduled retreats and events for youth, couples, men, women, and families each year.

Malvern Retreat House is well-equipped to handle corporate retreats, church conferences, and non-denominational retreats. The center has an overnight capacity of 400, six conference and retreat halls, onsite chapels, and a large dining hall for up to 350 guests. Friendly and compassionate Malvern staff members work with you to make sure your retreat is the best event possible.

Three of Malvern’s buildings have simple, comfortable private and double rooms with shared nearby bathrooms. The Family Life Center houses up to 100 guests, accommodating families, couples, and individuals in private rooms, each with a double and single bed, plus a private bath.

The Malvern House large-capacity dining hall provides chef-inspired fine dining for all retreats held on the premises, with special attention to dietary needs. The spacious grounds are designed for introspection. They feature Stations of the Cross, wooded walking paths, numerous sacred shrines, meditation gardens, The Overlook hilltop viewing spot, and serene chapels.
