Elohee is a prime example of how important location is for a retreat. Nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, Elohee offers guests a panoramic display of the splendor of northern Georgia.
Over 200 acres await you and your group at Elohee, complete with a 100-foot waterfall, a complete trail system, and a staggering eco-diversity. In the middle of the property sits Bald Mountain, the beating pulse of Elohee, and the communal center for all retreats. You can find three group spaces, a large natural pond with a fire pit overlooking the mountains, and the dining hall.
Elohee can accommodate groups of between 10-50 guests thanks to a series of seven modern cottages complete with six rooms a piece. There are three different room configurations including a king bed with private bathroom, two twins with private bathroom, and a single twin shared bathroom for solo retreatants. The rooms all feature prominent windows that take advantage of the scenery and bathe the space in natural light to create a warm and inviting space to call home.
To bring the whole experience together, Elohee also has four separate meeting spaces. Mandala Hall serves as the primary gathering space, the dining hall for all food and drinks, the Forest Studio as a secondary meeting space, and the Tea House, a shared space available to all guests 24/7. Every space was built in accordance with the land it sits upon to highlight the beauty of nature and to have as little impact as possible.
