Since 1983, El Shaddai Retreat Center has provided a relaxing and inspiring space for Christian retreats and events. In 2002, Ed and Norma Head purchased the ranch-style property to continue the tradition.
Christian church groups and organizations from across the country enjoy the dedicated hospitality of El Shaddai, and the serene atmosphere in which guests can deepen their relationship with God.
The ranch, located in Yorktown, Texas, can accommodate 100 visitors in dorm rooms, plus there’s additional cabin space for 50 more. El Shaddai can also host up to 350 campers in tents on the expansive grounds. To book a retreat, a minimum of 30 participants is required, or your smaller group could be accommodated alongside a separate concurrent retreat.
Retreat leaders create their own schedules, with hospitality staff in place to support them during their time at El Shaddai. The facility offers lots of space for meetings, including a large outside gazebo area with seating, an open pavilion, plus nooks and crannies for quiet moments during free time. There is a sizeable pool and other outdoor spaces to enjoy the property grounds.
